Feelings, Relationships (intimacy) with; family, friends, acquaintances.
"The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us."
- Black Elk - Oglala Sioux
After we take in information from reading, communicating, and experiencing, our brains process this information with the information stored within our brains from the past. What results in this action, is reaction. Our reaction depends on what information is already present in the brain. Many times these are based on past reactions or experiences. In order to have a calm, balanced reaction to things, we must be at peace with how we feel about these things. If we are not at peace with these things, our brains will react in confusion, resulting in unbalanced reactions. This is where the idea of "issues" comes up. If we say that somebody has an issue with something, it means they have not come to terms with the idea in their own minds. We will continue to have issues with things until we actively work on dealing with them. When we finally come to terms with an issue, we react to that issue in a calmer manner.
Write down how you feel about things, what dreams you have, and thoughts you have. In order to figure out our stand on certain issues, we need to get it down on paper and analyze it. Sometimes we just keep going over the same thoughts repeatedly without any apparent headway. By writing it down, it helps sort it all out. Our dreams are our brain's way of sorting through our emotions and thoughts from throughout the day. When we write these dreams down, we can see what our subconscious is trying to tell us. Do not keep feelings bottled up inside. Express yourself. Artistic people may want to draw, paint, sculpt, write, sing, act out, or otherwise create something that expresses your feelings. Be FREE and be yourself. No one else can do it for you. You are unique in your own way. Remember that whatever is missing in your life is found not outside of yourself, but within.
Here is a list of some emotions. Copy this list and write down what you think the definition of each of these are. When you are journaling you can refer to this list to help you assign an emotion to how you are feeling at the time of writing. Why do you think you feel this way? Do not feel bad for any emotion you feel. These are YOUR feelings, and you feel this way for a reason.
